Peter De Caluwe

Peter De Caluwe is the Chief Executive Officer at Thunes, a global cross-border payment provider. In his role, Peter is responsible for accelerating global growth, operations as well as managing investor relations.

Peter joined Thunes (previously TransferTo) from Naspers, a broad-based multinational internet and media group, where he was the CEO Payments, focusing on growing the global payment platform and launching in emerging markets.

Prior to Naspers, Peter spent 11 years as CEO of Ogone (now known as Ingenico ePayments), a leading pan-European online payments services provider. Under his leadership, the company became a global player with a presence in 28 countries, processing €20b in internet transactions.

Peter holds a degree in Marketing Management from KUL in Leuven, and is fluent in English, Dutch, German and French.
