Remittances to Bosnia up 2.8%

Remittances to Bosnia increased by 2.8% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2019, in the third quarter alone, money sent home by Bosnian citizens residing abroad totalled 760.2 million marka, up 3.8% compared to the like quarter of 2018, Bosnia's central bank said in a statement e-mailed to SeeNews. 

According to the country's central bank remittances reached 2.077 billion marka ($1.2 billion/1.1 billion euro).

Remittances to Bosnia increased to 2.699 billion marka in 2018, compared to 2.645 billion marka in 2017.
