Remittances to Albania
The flow of foreign remittances to Albania increased by 8.5% year-on-year to 184.6 million euro ($204.2 million) in the third quarter of 2019, according to central bank data.
Money sent home by Albanian citizens living abroad in the July-September period edged down by 0.3% compared with the second quarter of 2018, Bank of Albania said in a current account report.
The flow of foreign remittances to Albania increased to 669.6 million euro in 2018, compared to 635.7 million euro in 2017.
