Remittances to Albania
Foreign remittances to Albania increased by 11.7% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2018, reaching 181.7 million euro ($209.9 million), the central bank said on Monday.
Money sent by Albanian citizens living abroad increased by 22.3% quarter-on-quarter in the April-June period, Bank of Albania said in a quarterly balance of payments report.
The flow of foreign remittances into Albania increased to 635.7 million euro in 2017, from 614.5 million euro in the prior year.
