Record high workers’ remittances received in June 2020 - Pakistan

Remittances record high and rose to USD 2,466 million in June 2020 a growth of 50.7% over June 2019. FY20, remittances also rose to a historic high of USD 23,121 million, 6.4% higher than USD 21,739.4 million in FY19. Even more impressive is a 7.8% increase in remittances during March-June 2020 pandemic period compared with the corresponding period of 2019.
