The regulatory environment is constantly changing and currently around the world items ranging from AML directives to tax and Brexit on remittances are being constantly debated and. This session will look at how the industry can provide more input into these matters and become more effective. It will also discuss some of the updates in detail.

In this session we will discuss the role of the post office within the remittances and the broader payments market. Post offices are known to be one of the largest cash-in and cash-out networks for the MTOs. They often offer post-to-post remittance services cheaper and in some cases already below the 5 per cent and they play an important role in the financial inclusion for the rural last mile. Discussing upcoming and existing initiatives, challenges and opportunities the session will look into how Post offices can remain relevant in the digital payments space.

Access to the events floor is via the Building’s glazed external-facing high-speed lifts, which deliver guests to the venue in just over 30 seconds.
